§ Mr. SpeedIt is estimated that to adapt and equip "Britannia" in an emergency to act as a hospital ship carrier for casualties would cost about £300,000 including £240,000 for equipment.
§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether the refit of the Royal Yacht "Britannia" is causing any holdup in any other work; and whether any facilities, such as plating or machining, are being used for "Britannia" when they were found to be available for other Royal Navy ships.
