Whether they will carry out a survey of the organisations which are developing computer data bases which include Government and parliamentary publications, and whether they have any suggestions for co-ordinating these activities.
Earl FERRERSHer Majesty's Government have no plan to carry out such a survey or to co-ordinate such activities. Different organisations are likely to have very diverse interests in Government and parliamentary publications and it is difficult to see what public benefit would be derived from co-ordinating these interests which would justify the cost.
