§ Mr. Hendersonasked the Minister for the Civil Service when he anticipates the general production in machine readable form of Hansard, the Vote and other parliamentary papers; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. ChannonPlans are well advanced for the production of theOfficial Report of the proceedings of the House of Commons using modern techniques. I hope that a machine-readable form will begin during the 1980–81 Session. It is hoped that the Vote and other parliamentary papers will become available in this form approximately three years later.
At present the only parliamentary publication available from HMSO in this form is Statutes in Force, the new edition of which will be completed in 1981–82.
