§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will arrange for his Department to undertake an investigation under the Companies Act of the affairs and activities of the Birmingham and Midland Counties Trust and its associated companies.
§ Mr. Eyre[pursuant to his reply, 11 February 1980]: I know of no reason for doing so, but will be glad to consider any information the hon. Member may have about the companies.
