§ Mr. John MooreThe answers given on 15 June 1979 concerning the alternative sources refer to the amounts allocated by my Department to specific programmes of research and development into the alternative sources of energy listed. These allocations were made for programmes each lasting several years. The answer given on 23 October 1979 refers to my Department's expected expenditure in 1979–80 on research and development programmes on the energy sources for which such information was requested.
