§ Mr. BrittanThe numbers of applications for and refusals of legal aid for all criminal and care proceedings in magistrates' and juvenile courts are published annually by petty sessional division in "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales"(table 25 of the volume for 1978, Cmnd. 7670). Figures for the types of proceedings specified in 1978 are given in the following table. Figures for 1979 are not yet available.
