§ Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Lord Privy Seal whether, notwithstanding the present merger talks between his Department, the British Council and the Inter-University Council, it is his intention to maintain, for the future, a significant programme of aid to higher education in the developing countries.
§ Mr. Neil MartenAn aim of the discussions is to improve our arrangements for administering aid to tertiary education. The scale of that aid will remain substantial, within the constraints of the total aid programme.
