§ Mr. McQuarrieasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if any proposals were made at the meetings of the European Economic Community Council of Ministers for Agriculture in Brussels on 8 and 9 December on the reform of the common agricultural policy: and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe Council discussed arrangements for the accession of Greece on 1 January, arrangements for New Zealand butter after 1980, the proposals for a new sugar regime, and the use of hormonal substances in domestic animals. These discussions were not concluded and the Council agreed to resume them at a further meeting on 18 December. There was no general discussion on the reform of the common agricultural policy.
