asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what inquiries he has made into the sale of blood given by donors to the National Blood Transfusion Service; and if he will make a statement.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East, Official Report, 10 November, column 75, what progress has been made with his inquiries into the sale abroad of blood plasma through the National Heart Hospital in London.
