§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when last he met representatives of the National Union of Students; if he will make a statement regarding that meeting specifying whether the visit by the Under-Secretary to the United States of America to investigate methods of student financing was discussed; and, if so, what views the representatives of the National Union of Students put forward.
§ Dr. BoysonMy right hon. and learned Friend last met, the National Union of Students on 23 January 1980. I last met its representatives on 18 November to discuss the new arrangements for financing student unions. My visit to the United States to investigate methods of loans for students was not discussed.
