asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Liverpool, Scotland Exchange on 12 November, if he will now meet a delegation of Merseyside hon. Members and members of the Liverpool Tate and Lyle Action Committee to discuss the problems of the sugar industry.

On my behalf my hon. Friend the Minister of State has recently seen two delegations, one of hon. Members and Members of the European Parliament and the other from the trades unions concerned. I am fully aware of the points made at these meetings.
