§ Sir Ian GilmourWe are continuing to work for the implementation of the agreement that my right hon. and noble Friend concluded with the Spanish Foreign Minister110W in Lisbon on 10 April, which provides for the restoration of direct communications between Gibraltar and Spain and the opening of negotiations. As the text of the agreement makes clear, the British Government's commitment to the people of Gibraltar remains firm.
