§ Mr. Lyellasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will indicate (a) the number of full-time and sandwich students now attending university courses in Great Britain, (b) the number of such students who were new entrants in the academic year 1980–81 and (c) how these numbers compare with those in 1979–80, distinguishing between students from the United Kingdom and from overseas, and between under-graduates and postgraduates.
