§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Minister of Transport what representations he has made to the EEC Commissioner for Regional Affairs to press for EEC assistance towards the cost of modernising and safeguarding railway services in development areas.
§ Mr. FowlerSuch assistance is already available, on application from the British Railways Board, in the form of grants under the European regional development fund and loans through the European Investment Bank.
