§ Mr. RidleyThe Antigua Government have asked that a constitutional conference should be convened with a view to independence being granted to Antigua under section 10(2) of the West Indies Act 1967. I have invited the territory's Government and Opposition parties, and the Independent Member for Barbuda, to send representatives to a constitutional conference to begin at Lancaster House on 4 December. All have accepted this invitation.
