HC Deb 08 August 1980 vol 990 c451W
Mr. Grimond

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if the right hon. Member for Orkney and Zetland may have either an answer to his letters of 5 June, 17 June and 22 July or at least an acknowledgement of their receipt.

Mr. Whitelaw

I am sorry that the right hon. Member has not yet had a reply. I have been considering most carefully the particular case about which he wrote and a full reply will be sent shortly. As a matter of course postcard acknowledgements are sent by my Department on receipt of any letter from a Member of Parliament.
