asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will introduce legislation to reverse the decision of the House of Lords in the Granada television case.

The LORD CHANCELLOR

The Government intend to await the reasons for this decision and then to study them. They are also looking forward to receiving the Law Commission report onBreach of Confidence which may be relevant.
