(2) whether permission of the Catering Sub-Committee, as laid down in the Catering Sub-Committee minutes for 13 July 1971, was sought by the General Manager of the Catering Department for the dinner in a dining room of the House on 14 November 1979.

The General Manager of the Refreshment Department has been authorised to book a dining room since June 1975, provided that the room is not required by an hon. Member.
