§ Dr. VaughanI understand that the question refers to the community care project for the elderly which is currently being operated by the social services department of the Kent county council. There are a considerable number and variety of schemes which individual social services authorities have introduced in order to foster the development of care in the community including some which incorporate some of the features of the Kent project. Comprehensive information on all such innovative schemes is not collected centrally.
