§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergThe total amount of gross rent income included in local authorities' housing revenue accounts in England and Wales in the financial year 1978–79 was £1,600 million. Of this, £1,240 million was received from HRA tenants, and the remaining £360 million was covered by rent rebates. These figures are provisional estimates only.
