§ Mr. David MitchellThis item continues to appear in theTrade and Industry article 100 checklist because there has been no formal withdrawal of this proposal promulgated in any of the series of the "Official Journal of the European Communities", although it is understood that there was a communication from the Vice-President of the Commission to the President of the Council in 1978 stating that the Commission had decided to withdraw its proposal.
