§ Mr. Jim LesterPrecise figures of payments made under the redundancy payments provisions of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978 to men in the 60 to 64 age group are not available. A 10 per cent. sample is taken and analysis of these figures for the financial year ended 31 March 1979 shows that 26 per cent. of moneys paid went to men in that age group.
