§ Mr. Jim LesterI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the position is as follows:
a view to seeing whether its underlying principles can be achieved in a form less burdensome to industry.
§ Mr. MayhewI am confident that the Health and Safety Commission, on which three representatives of the CBI and three of the TUC sit, is aware of the need to have fully in mind the implications for industry when developing its policies. It has developed a very extensive system of public consultation about its proposals and has consistently demonstrated its willingness to take very careful account of the views expressed by industry.
