HC Deb 30 November 1979 vol 974 c871W
Mr. Marlow

asked the Lord Privy Seal, in view of the fact that over 70 per cent. of the moneys for three SD14s still being built for the Vietnamese Government has already been paid, if the Government will sell these ships to a third party, retaining the full moneys with the exception of that amount which is left after taking account of the costs to Great Britain of dealing with Vietnamese refugees and other results of the Vietnamese policy of genocide.

Mr. Hurd

I have nothing to add to the reply given by my hon. Friend, the Minister for Overseas Development, to my hon. Friend the Member for Surrey North-West (Mr. Grylls) on 5 July.—[Vol. 969, c. 661–62.]
