§ Dr. BoysonMy Department's estimates for educational expenditure in 1980–81 do not assume any cutback by local authorities in midday supervisory staff, though it will be for individual authorities to decide how to make the required reduction in expenditure. I am confident that local authorities will continue to ensure that pupils are safeguarded against playground accidents.
