HC Deb 28 November 1979 vol 974 c647W
Mr. John Grant

asked the Prime Minister, pursuant to her answer of 22 November to the hon. Member for Islington, Central, why she required an amendment to the working paper; what was the form of the amendment; if she was prepared to authorise publication of the Gazette without amendment; and if the extra costs to which she refers are all related costs, including extra wages and salaries, including any necessary overtime payments of Department of Employment and Her Majesty's Stationery Office staff involved in the matter.

The Prime Minister

Successive drafts of Government papers are not published, and I therefore have nothing to add in respect of the first part of the question. All costs related to the reprinting of theGazette were included in the sum given in my answer of 22 November.
