§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will cause an investigation to be made to ascertain how and in what way David Quillan, a convicted criminal, was allowed to enter Great Britain from America and remain as an illegal imigrant and to commit further crimes; whether he will deport this man; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RaisonI have no information about Mr. Quillan to suggest a need for special inquiries of this kind. If the hon. Member has any information about criminal offences that may have been committed by Mr. Quillan, he should pass it to the appropriate chief officer of police.
