§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) what further steps he is taking to reduce the number of workers killed and injured in the construction industry;
(2) what consultations he has had with unions about workers killed and injured in the construction industry;
(3) what discussions he has had with the Health and Safety Executive about the number of people killed and injured in the construction industry;
(4) what is his estimate of the number of workers likely to be killed and injured in the construction industry in the next live years in the absence of improvements in safety;
(5) if he will publish in the Official Report the number of people who have been killed and injured in the construction industry in each of the last five years;
(6) what recommendations he has made to employers about the number of workers killed and injured in the construction industry.
