§ Mr. Goodhart[pursuant to his reply, 19 November 1979, c. 78]: The planning authority for Northern Ireland is the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland. Over the past three years the Department has dealt with a total of about 60,000 applications for planning permission and the information sought by the hon. Member is not readily available.
