§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Minister for the Civil Service whether, in view of his decision to entrust to the Pay Research Unit Board responsibility for reviewing the Government's Actuary's computation of the value of pension index-linkage for purposes of pay comparability, he plans to replace the existing chairman and one or more other members of the Board with persons experienced in the negotiation of private sector pension schemes.
§ Mr. ChannonThere are no plans to replace the chairman of the Pay Research Unit Board. As part of the proposed arrangements the need for new appointments to the Board is being considered.
