§ Mr. Craigenasked the Lord Privy Seal what further discussions he has had in the European Council of Ministers over the distribution of surplus food stocks to provide aid to Cambodia.
§ Mr. Neil MartenThe Council of Ministers agreed on 30 October to make available 25 million units of account for famine relief in Cambodia. Within that, the Community will provide from its 1979 food aid programme 20,000 tonnes of rice, of which it does not produce a surplus, in addition to the 5,000 tonnes of rice allocated in July. The Community has also allocated 1,500 tonnes of dried skimmed milk, of which it does produce a surplus.
