§ Mr. St. John-StevasSupport from the private sector will become increasingly important and the key to development in the arts, while public support will of course continue. I have stated this view and have been impressed by the constructive response from companies and individuals on a number of occasions in which the tax changes in my right hon. and learned Friend's Budget have undoubtedly played an important part.
