§ Mr. Adam ButlerThe industry's prospects depend on its success in obtaining orders. Government help to this end is available through a scheme of financial assistance to the United Kingdom fishing industry for the construction of fishing vessels administered by the White Fish Authority. Intervention fund assistance is also available for orders for fishing vessels over 150 gross registered tons.
