§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) if he will introduce legislation to implement the 12 recommendations made by Joseph Jackson, QC, and Kirkpatrick L. Young, TD, FCA in their report on Ferguson and General Investments Ltd.;
(2) if he will include in his proposed legislation on company law measures to improve the law as a result of the report on Ferguson and General Investments Ltd.

§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will state the reasons for the delay in publication of the report on Ferguson and General Investments Ltd., in view of the completion of the report on 28 December 1978.
§ Mr. EyreThis report was ready for publication when the Government took office and was published on 14 May. The printing and issue of a lengthy report is bound to take some time.
