§ Mr. Pawseyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what proposals he has for alterations in local government finance, so to reintroduce the weighting in favour of the shire counties which existed before 1974.
§ Mr. KingWe are giving active consideration to the present system of local government finance and have in mind the concern expressed over the weighting between the various areas.
