§ Dr. VaughanThe Northern regional health authority is continuing to improve and upgrade existing facilities at Shotley Bridge hospital. In addition, work is due to start in 1982 on the building of a 60 bedded mental illness unit, with day hospital facilities at this hospital, at a cost of over £1 million.
