§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will bring forward for earlier publication the report which he has promised for the 531W autumn on the prevention of damp in houses and flats, in order to prevent more homes being built with this defect and to help to eradicate it in existing homes.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe Building Research Establishment survey on the extent and nature of damp in public sector housing has been planned on a very tight schedule and it would be unrealistic to attempt to compress this further.
