§ Lord PEARTThe numbers of standing and temporary Royal Commissions financed from monies voted by Parliament which have been at work since 1950 are 11 and 28 respectively. The minimum, maximum, and average periods of office held by the chairmen in each category are:
Four chairmen of standing Royal Commissions have been paid a salary. Fees have been paid to three chairmen of temporary Royal Commissions.
