HC Deb 12 March 1979 vol 964 c66W
Mr. Wyn Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how much has been spent to date on the adaptation of the Coal Exchange, Cardiff; what is the current annual cost of retaining the building; and what are the Government's plans for disposing of it.

Mr. Ken Marks

I have been asked to reply.

Some £42,000 has been spent on the adaptation of the Exchange. The current annual cost of retaining the building is £45,000 in rent and maintenance. The future use of the Exchange is a matter for further consideration.
