§ Mr. DeakinsRepresentations by the Society of Chiropodists and by the Chiropodists Board, seeking modification of the limitations imposed by the Medicines (Prescription Only) Order 1977 on the parenteral administration of local anaesthetics by State registered chiropodists, have been considered by the Department's advisers and proposals for dealing with this and other suggested amendments to the 1977 Order will be circulated in a consultation letter as soon as the necessary preparatory work has been completed.
