Whether they will draw to the attention of the Director of Public Prosecutions the article "Pensions, Perks and the Printers" in the New Statesman of 30th March 1979, disclosing as it does prima facie evidence of the commission of criminal offences.
The LORD CHANCELLORThe Director is aware of the allegations made in the article. Inquiries are being made into certain aspects of the matter, but it would not be appropriate for me to give further details at this stage.
