Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what is his estimate of the extra costs to Motability as a result of the increase in value-added tax to 15 per cent.; and if he will make a statement;

(2) what is his estimate of the extra costs to Motability as a result of the increase in the minimum lending rate to 14 per cent.; and if he will make a statement.
