§ Mr. David Watkinsasked the Lord Privy Seal what consultations he is having with the Governments of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qattar and the United Arab Emirates about the effects on the United Kingdom of the cancellation of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation.
§ Mr. HurdThe Government are in contact with the member Governments of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation. We have made it clear that we look to member Governments to ensure that British companies do not suffer as a result of any decisions taken to change the status of the organisation.
