§ Mr. Ashtonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will list the number of complaints made at Rampton hospital against nurses in the 100W past five years; and how many of these have resulted in disciplinary action.
§ Dr. VaughanDuring the five years 1974 to 1978 inclusive, 57 complaints have been made against Rampton hospital nurses by or on behalf of patients, of these 32 alleged physical ill-treatment. None has resulted in disciplinary action being taken.
§ Mr. Ashtonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will list the number of attacks made on staff, both male and female, by patients at Rampton hospital in each of the past five years; how many of these attacks needed medical attention; and how many resulted in staff having to lose time from work.
