asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will update for each year the table in paragraph 72 of the Appropriation Accounts 1976–7.

The figures for the year ended 31 October 1977 are given in paragraph 101 of the Comptroller and Auditor General's report for 1977–78 (HC 139). The figures for the following year are:
