The money provision for staff salaries in the published estimates for 1974–75—adjusted by supplementary estimates—and in the revised cash limits for 1979–80—published on 26 June—was £11,720,500 and £20,153,600. The figures include staff concerned with arts and libraries who are now the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster.
