asked the Secretary of State for Trade how many firms in Scotland were taking advantage of the export credit guarantee arrangements at the end of June.

At the end of June 1979, 686 firms in Scotland held comprehensive guarantees from ECGD. Information is not readily available about the use of ECGD's other facilities by firms in Scotland.
