§ Mr. Lambornasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in the light of the statement by the Greater London Council on 17 July, he will bring forward proposals to amend the Private Bill procedure so as to provide for public inquiries, in order to speed up the processing of planning matters.
§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will bring forward proposals to include provision for public inquiries in Private Bill procedure in order to guarantee both speed in the planning process and retention of the public right of objection.
