§ 48. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he has received the communication dated 14 July from the hon. Member for Newham, North-West showing that a constituent, Mrs. M, waited almost four years for an operation at the London hospital, when she was originally told that this would take one to one and a half years, and that she has now been told that she will never get into this hospital; and whether he will take some action to ensure that this woman receives better treatment.
§ Dr. VaughanI am looking into this matter and will write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
