§ Mr. Jim Lester,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 23 July 1979; Vol. 971, c. 47], gave the following answer:
In development and special development areas, redesignated intermediate areas in Great Britain at 30 June 1979, 1,312 jobs were being supported by the small firms employment subsidy and 94 by the temporary short-time working compensation scheme.
I regret that the information sought for the special temporary employment programme is not available except at disproportionate cost.
